Evening conversation

Tonight I had a real interrogation (by miss J. as a journalist) which gave me some conclusions:
1. What do I do?
2. Should I tell her that she will most likely still have a husband in the end ??? 🙂
3. You will never forget your first love!

Who: Daughter-mother conversation

When:  Thursday evening, around 19:00, bedtime

Miss J.: Mom, how did you meet papa?
Mom: Aaaaa … what?
Miss J.: I mean …  did he have glasses when you found him? (I have to laugh about “finding him”, it makes me think of Finding Nemo)
Mom: Yes, papa was wearing glasses. When I met him, I mean when I have found him, he had already glasses.
Miss J.: Was he skinny then?
Mom: Well, he was a bit skinnier than now.
Miss J.: Now papa is a bit fatty, isn’t it? I see he is a bit fatty.
Mom: (almost bursting into laughter): I don’t think papa is fatty, love.
Miss J.: But was he handsome then?
Mom: Papa? Of course, he was handsome, that’s why I married him. He is still handsome, don’t you think?
Miss J.: Dragoș is handsome as well., but I am not sure if I am going to marry him. (Dragoș is her classmate at her kindergarten. They are both in the last group)
Mom: Would you like to have a husband like your father?
Miss J.: I don’t wanna have a husband. A husband smokes.
Mom: (hmmm …): What do you mean a husband smokes? Look, papa doesn’t smoke. Not all people smoke, love.
Miss J.: Do you wanna know a secret? When Moșu’ visits grandpa (Moșu’ is Bogdan, her grandfather’s friend) he smokes like the back of a bad car and papa smokes then too.
Mom: I see … Do you think papa is handsome?
Miss J.: Well, he is ALMOST as handsome as Dragoș.

Miss J. is 5 years, 8 months old  😉
