In Case of Reality, Blink Ten Times

Hello from Cloud Zero 7 — My Personal Escape Plan

Sometimes I wish I had Arabela’s magical ring, you know, the one from that wonderfully strange Czech TV show from our childhood? Arabela, with the Majer family, the dashing prince, and of course, the eternally meddling Rumburak. That ring could conjure up anything. One twist, and poof, your wildest dreams, reality.

If I had that ring now, I wouldn’t ask for diamonds or castles or eternal youth. I’d simply ask for… a cloud.
Not just any cloud, a sparkling, fluffy, milky-white one. A little puff of sky stitched from cashmere and sunlight, floating just above the noise. I’d call it Cloud Zero 7. My personal sky sanctuary.

What Does Love Mean?

A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds, “What does love mean?” The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined. See what you think:

When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn’t bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all even when his hands got arthritis, too. That’s Love.” Rebecca – age 8

Thursday Night Talk

Thursday, 7 PM. Pajamas on, teeth brushed (more or less), and it’s that sacred time of day: bedtime. The moment when little feet finally settle, eyes get heavy… and suddenly, a journalistic fire ignites in the heart of a 5-year-old.

There’s something deeply peaceful about being up there, hovering above it all. In those moments, I feel light, fearless, and blissfully detached from the noise of everyday life and completely indifferent to all the humanity problems.

Flying in a hot air balloon has been on my bucket list forever. There’s something so romantic and old-worldly about it. If I were a man, I think that’s how I’d propose, soaring gently over a sleepy countryside, the world quiet beneath us, popping the question in the sky. Read more

Love & Rainbow

A warm, delicious summer rain had just stopped minutes ago. I’m sitting at the wooden table in my garden, a cup of coffee warming my hands, breathing in that unmistakable after-rain freshness. It’s quiet, peaceful, and my thoughts drift back to yesterday.

I met a friend I hadn’t seen in a while. She greeted me with the most radiant smile and a spark in her voice. “I’m in love,” she said.
She didn’t even have to say it, really. You could hear it in her tone, see it in her eyes, those eyes were sparkling like two genuine diamonds.

Free your mind! Is that so?

I have recently tried a relaxation program: BodyBalance – a mix of yoga and tai-chi. Yes, I can already hear you asking “ what even is tai-chi” 🙂 Don’t worry, I just googled it too. Turns out tai-chi is a martial art that’s supposed to revitalize you, calm your mind (God, do I need that part), and improve your blood circulation (which sounds great because mine’s all over the place, I mean, I live with permanently cold feet).
